Remarks: "Budweiser Lager Beer. Circa: Early 1949 - July 1949. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists 3 Patents and was Brewed and Canned by Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. This is the same package design as seen on the previous page (USBC-OI 162) with, however; the lack of a Manufacturers Printing Code on the container. This was the final Budweiser Lager Beer opening instruction package design used by the brewer. The Budweiser brand would continue to use this striking gold colored design, minus the opening instructions, for a couple more years. This Grade 1/1+ example is one of only fifteen or so quality examples known to the author, along with another twenty or so lesser condition examples existing also. Rarity Rating: R-7/R-7."
