Remarks: "Budweiser Lager Beer. Circa: Mid - Late 1936. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists Patents Pending and was filled by Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. This is a similar package design as seen on the previous page (USBC-OI 138) with, however; the added "Copyright 1936", along with the brewing company printed below "Lager Beer", at the bottom of the face panel. Notice the Roman Numeral "I" is now printed to the right of the patent information, at the bottom of the right side panel. Note also, the MPC "A.C.CO. 68-A "X" {similar to (Figure E) on page X}, remains printed at the bottom-left of the left side panel.
