Remarks: "Budweiser Lager Beer. Circa: Late 1947. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists 3 Patents and was filled by Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. This is a similar package design as seen on the previous page (USBC-OI 150) with, however; "12 Fluid Ounces" printed above "35 Centiliters", at the top-left of the face panel, and the "Withdrawn Free of Internal Revenue Tax for Exportation" statement, printed at the top-right of the face panel. Notice there is no "Brewed and Canned by" statement, printed on the left side panel. Note also, the MPC "A.C.CO. 68-A D" {similar to (Figure I) on page XI}, printed at the bottom-center of the right side panel. Although the words "Copyright 1936", have already been removed from the "IRTP" package design, they remained in use for a little while longer on a couple of "WF-IRTP" containers; as with this example and the one on the following page. This Grade 1/1+ example is one of only fifteen or so quality examples known to the author. Rarity Rating: R-7/R-6." Reprinted with permission from Kevin C. Lilek.
