Remarks: "Budweiser Lager Beer. Circa: October 1947. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists 3 Patents and was Brewed and Canned by Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. Notice the differing patent information, printed at the top of the right side panel. Note the five toothed crimped and glued can seam, becoming ever more common in the coming years. Note also, the MPC "A.C.CO. 68-A D" {similar to (Figure I) on page XI}, printed at the bottom-center of the right side panel, along with the crimped and glued seam. In October 1947, the brewer began printing the "3 Patents" information on the containers. This is also the last "IRTP" package design to have the words "Copyright 1936", printed at the bottom-left of the face panel. This Grade 1/1+ example is typical of the several quality examples known to the author. Rarity Rating: R-6/R-4." Reprinted with permission from Kevin C. Lilek.
